Levels &
Course Structure
Our program is divided into 10 progressive courses:
Beginner I (a–b)
This conversation class will focus on the health, free time, artistic preferences, and things that cause stress. Grammatically, we will focus on using the preterite and the imperfect to talk about the past allowing students to use vocabulary to describe incidents, occurrences and things that put pressure in our everyday life, express subjective actions and states to express influence, describing and comparing hobbies, sports, and your health & review all of the uses of the subjunctive.
Beginner II (a–b)

IN-PERSON BASIC II A-B: (Novice Spanish in simple contexts. OBJECTIVES: To talk about the members if your family and tell what they are like, describe people/places/things/ideas, express the verb TO BE in simple contexts, use demonstratives (this, that, and so on,) to express go and talk about future actions & express actions with the following verbs tener, venir, poder, preferir & querer.

Beginner III (a–b)
IN-PERSON BASIC III A-B: (Novice Spanish in simple contexts. OBJECTIVES: Talk about where you live and your routine, express reflexive actions self/selves, compare people/things/actions, express actions that are happening right now and prepositions of place.)
Beginner IV (a–d)

IN-PERSON BASIC IV A-D: (High Basic Spanish in simple contexts. OBJECTIVES: Talk about food and eating habits, express to know, formal commands, to express to and for who(m,) start talking about the past, talk about travel to places, talk about feelings, talk about holidays and events, talk about our leisure time, talk about health & use of the preterite and the imperfect. )

Intermediate I (a-d)

Intermediate II (a-d)
This course is for students who have completed the Low Intermediate level or minimum of 3 years of college Spanish. This conversation class will focus on nature, environment, life, work & our country. Grammatically, we will focus on expressing in what you have done (present perfect,) describe people/places/things, express actions that depend on each other, express future plans and express what you would do.
Each level helps you build the skills you need to communicate effectively in real-life situations — from basic introductions to everyday conversations.

Students who are enrolled in our GROUP classes have the OPTION of adding extra 10 x30-minute private live online classes at a discounted price. This is highly recommended as it gives more opportunities to practice, expand and master conversation skills.
