How to register for a class

  • Step 1: Get a class recommendation

    Take our free placement test or a free trial class for assessment and class recommendation.

  • Step 2: Register for a group class

    Choose the format of your group classes in-person or online. Our group classes meet 4 times a year for 10-week sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer.) Our in-person group classes meet at our Bellmore, NY locations Tuesday to Thursday evening from 6:30-7:30 or 7:30-8:30 PM and the cost for a 10-week session is $445. Our online group classes meet via our Teams platform Monday-Thursday evening from 5:00-6:00 or 6:00-7:00 PM and the cost for a 10-week class is $245.

  • Step 3: Choose your private conversation lab

    Our conversational labs are an additional Ten 30-minute private class via online with a tutor to keep on practicing on your conversational skills and help you work on skills that you need to improve at a time and a day that works best for the student between Monday-Friday 8 AM-8 PM and Saturday 8 AM-1PM.

How our classes work

  • Step 1: Learn the grammar skills

    The first 15 minutes of every lesson, students learn the rules before putting into practice.

  • Step 2: Practice conversation skills

    45 minutes of the rest of the class, students practice speaking with their teacher and classmates. Real conversations using what you just learned.

  • Step 3: Meet with your Private Tutor Online

    For 30 minutes review grammar and conversations skills with your private online tutor to keep practicing and strengthening your skills.

  • Step 4: Build skills gradually

    Each lesson builds on the last one. No confusing jumps or missing pieces.

  • Step 5: Test your skills

    At the end of each session, take a test to move up to the next class level.

  • Step 6: Get a class recommendation

    All students learn at a different pace. Students who demonstrate a higher pace of learning and use their private sessions to advance their skills will be recommended to a higher class level.

Course Structure
Our program is divided into 18 progressive courses:
IN-PERSON or ONLINE-BASIC GROUP BASIC I A-B:
Introduction to Spanish. OBJECTIVES: These 2 courses are for students, who have little or no prior knowledge of Spanish or have taken basic Spanish classes recently. Basic Ia emphasizes on the alphabet/numbers, basic conversation for greetings, describing yourself and others, telling time and expressing likes and dislikes. Basic 1b emphasizes in academic environment vocabulary, pronunciation, singular and plural nouns/gender/articles, express actions (verbs that end in -ar and form questions in several ways.
IN-PERSON or ONLINE GROUP BASIC II A-B:
Novice Spanish in simple contexts. OBJECTIVES: These 2 courses are for students who have the knowledge of the concepts learned in course Basic I or for who have experience learning the Spanish language. Themes include a continuation of counting and time, address, phone numbers, age, family and shopping. Grammatically, we focus on the present regular tense, the verb ser, conjugation of regular verbs in the present indicative (i.e. ar, er, ir,) express actions using the verbs: tener/venir/poder/preferer/querer and express to go(-ir +a.)
IN-PERSON or ONLINE GROUP BASIC III A-B:
Mid Basic Spanish. OBJECTIVES: These 2 courses are for students, who have the knowledge of the concepts learned in Basic II. Basic III concentrates on simple dialogues and engaging in spontaneous conversations. Themes include home, weather, geography and seasons. Grammatically, we focus on more on reflexive verbs to talk about your daily routines, express actions using the verbs: hacer/oir/poner, traer/ver, comprehensive study of the verbs ser vs. estar, present progressive and prepositions of place.
IN-PERSON or ONLINE GROUP BASIC IV A-D:
High Basic Spanish. OBJECTIVES: These 4 courses are for students who have already learned the basic foundations in beginning courses or have taken minimum of 2 years of College Spanish. This conversation class will focus on food, travel, holidays, and free time allowing students to use vocabulary to describe food/eating habits, places they would visit/to those you do, holidays/other events & what we do when we are studying or working. Grammatically, we will focus intensely on the verbs: querer, tener, haber, and gustar. Thus, allowing students to form more complex sentences to express needs, wants, abilities and more. We will also learn formal commands, start talking about the past (the preterite,) learn more about asking questions & expressing the best and worst of a group (superlatives.)
IN-PERSON or ONLINE GROUP LOW INTERMEDIATE A-D:
OBJECTIVES:
These 4 courses are for students who have completed Basic IV or have taken minimum of 2-3 years of College Spanish. These conversation classes will focus on health-related topics, where we live, artistic preferences & things that causes stress. Students will review all of the uses of the subjunctive, how to use the preterite and imperfect to talk about the past, relative pronouns, por/para, hace and uses of se.
IN-PERSON or ONLINE GROUP MID-HIGH INTERMEDIATE A-D:
OBJECTIVES:
These 4 courses are for students who have completed Basic IV or have taken minimum of 3-4 years of College Spanish. These conversation classes will focus on nature/environment, one’s life, aspects of work & current events in the country and the world. Students will learn more descriptive words, the past participle, present perfect, the subjunctive after nonexistent and indefinite antecedents, subjunctive after conjunctions of contingency and purpose, the subjunctive in time clauses & past subjunctive and will end with learning how to express what would you do (Conditional.)

How does your Method work?

How can I determine the right class for me?
R.-There are two ways to determine your class level. We provide an online placement test or free trial class to evaluate your proficiency and offer immediate course recommendations tailored to you.
What is the duration of each course, and when are the classes held?
R.-Our group classes whether online or in-person are 60 minutes long and private online classes are 30 minutes long. Group classes meet once a week between Monday-Thursday in the evening and Saturday afternoon. Private conversation labs can be selected from a range of times Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 8 PM, and Saturday, 8 AM – 1 PM.
How much do courses cost?
In-Person Group courses and 1:1 conversation lab is $445 per 10-week session. Online Group courses and 1:1 conversation lab is $245 per 10-week session. We offer free e-books and workbooks.

All of our teachers are highly experienced linguist, who are native speakers.

How long does it take to learn Spanish with this method?

Most students become conversational after completing 4-6 courses (12-15 months.) Our program is recreational and is for adults who have a set goal in mind.

In the beginning, you can set your goal of being able to get by at the workplace or when you travel. In this case you may decide to take our series of basic courses. If you are looking to become more proficient, then you may choose to complete our high basic level IV. If you are looking to become highly proficient, then you may choose to complete our intermediate series in which you will work on paste tenses. If your goal is to become completely fluent you may choose to take our private C1 and C2 level courses.

What is the difference between the group class and conversation lab?
In the group class, each class is 25% grammar and 75% conversation. Students learn the grammar skills and put into practice to be able to use it immediately. Our conversation labs are private, and each student meets with their tutor live online. The main focus on primarily on vocabulary acquisition, pronunciation and spontaneous conversation to reinforce what was learn in group class.
How many students are in the group class?
All our classes are very small. Most are between 3-6 students per class.
